Developed in close cooperation with Crucible Industries and exclusive to Spyderco, it offers an exceptional balance of edge retention, toughness, corrosion resistance, and ease of sharpening. The satin-finished, full-flat-ground PlainEdge blade of this Dragonfly 2 takes full advantage of these properties and is paired with a lightweight fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle injection molded in a distinctive cobalt blue—one of the signature handle colors of Spyderco’s elite SPY27 family of knives. The handle also houses the knife’s sturdy back lock mechanism and a reversible deep-pocket wire pocket clip that provides a choice of left or right-side tip-up carry.
