From now on, everyday cutting tasks should also beware of them, as the Boker Plus Fire Ant seamlessly ties into the character-defining features of this ant genus. A drop-point blade made of corrosion-resistant 4116 blade steel with a toxic stonewash finish serves as the mouthpiece. The Fire Ant only prepares for its powerful bite when the flipper is activated, while the double detent ball mechanism keeps the knife securely open. Two balls inside the liner are pressed against the opened blade, which can be easily closed again by overcoming the clamping resistance. Excellent grip is provided by the textured handle scales made of fire-red polypropylene, between which several worker ants are additionally located in the form of a stabilizing black backspacer, tweezers, and a reversible tip-up clip.
